Staff recommended the board approve a right-of-way easement to Southern Natural Gas LLC to allow construction and maintenance of the Riverdale Loop Line through county-owned Dundee Lake property. Dr. Ledbetter said staff negotiated safeguards requiring the company to restore disturbed areas and to compensate the county for actual damages. He also described ongoing discussions exploring a 10-foot multi-use trail along the easement corridor to connect northern neighborhoods to Dundee Lake Park.
