Open enrollment begins Oct. 27; changes take effect Jan. 1, 2026
Benefits administrators were told pre-open enrollment runs Oct. 27–Nov. 24; all elections made in that window become effective 01/01/2026. Administrators should register for GovDelivery and ensure paper forms and Navia submissions are processed promptly to produce comprehensive December reports.

Larry Kate, a presenter for the session, told benefits administrators that "we're going to start the pres the open enrollment on October 27, and that's gonna run through November 24." He said all changes made during that window "are gonna take effect 01/01/2026."
