Commissioners approve amendment lowering Ottawa County's Strong Families Safe Communities allocation by $7,400
The Board adopted an amendment to the Strong Families Safe Communities multi-county MOU that reduces Ottawa County's allocation by $7,400 to $21,100; the amendment takes effect upon full execution and was approved unanimously May 5, 2026.

The Board of Ottawa County Commissioners authorized the president of the board to sign State Fiscal Year 26-01 amendment to the Strong Families Safe Communities multi-county collaborative Memorandum of Understanding. "This amendment will reduce the allocation available to Ottawa County by $7,400.00 making the total amount $21,100.00 effective upon full execution of this amendment," the meeting record says.
