Planning Commission votes to recommend Short-Term Rental Registry Ordinance after final edits

Committee member Joe Sherman moved that the Planning Commission recommend the Short-Term Rental Registry Ordinance as discussed, with edits identified today; Committee member Patrick Calecas seconded and the motion passed 5-0-0.
The commission identified several final edits to the draft ordinance during its review and discussed the City of Aspen’s Short-Term Rental Guidance and comments offered by Selectboard member Daniel Kahn. Committee member Patrick Calecas said he will follow up with "Charlie" about possible dates when the proposed ordinance could appear on the Selectboard agenda and that he will respond to Daniel Kahn’s comments. The commission did not record any public comment on the item at this meeting.
