The board voted to adopt the Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP) after Dr. Casas summarized stakeholder engagement and review. Dr. Casas said the plan reflects a culmination of over 4,354 survey responses, multiple in‑person engagements, student and parent forums and prior board presentations in January, May and June.
Trustees thanked staff and student participants for their work compiling the plan. “No changes since the last time we met on Tuesday,” Dr. Casas said in introducing the item; the board then approved the LCAP by roll‑call vote. Staff noted the county office had audited and reviewed the plan and that adoption aligns district priorities with stakeholder feedback and state guidelines.
