Library moves forward on window replacement after donation support
Library representative Arlene told the commissioners that bid prices rose about 8% since February; the board approved the updated bid with local donations covering part of the cost and $66,000 remaining in the library’s fund, commissioners said.

Arlene, representing the library, told the board the window replacement bid had increased roughly 8% since February and that Friends of the Library would contribute $5,000 and the Senior Citizens Library Fund $500 toward the project. "The cost went up 8% on the windows from from the from February," she said, and asked the commissioners to approve the increase so the contract could be executed.
