Board flags missing $50,000 hangar-asphalt line; PAPI lighting project ready to start

Airport Manager Bill Calderwood reviewed recent capital and maintenance work and told the advisory board that hangar projects were moved up on the FAA ACIP five-year priority list after the perimeter-fence project. Calderwood reported, "Noticed Capital Improvement $50,000 for 2nd phase of hangar asphalt missing from 2026 - 2027 budget. Sent an email to Finance." The board did not take formal action but directed staff to follow up with Finance.
Calderwood also reported FAA attendance for annual maintenance on Dec. 30 and that the precision approach path indicator (PAPI) lighting project is "ready to start, PO request submitted to Finance and Notice to Proceed." Board members were briefed on the sequencing and asked to track funding and procurement steps before construction begins.
