The Whitman County Planning Commission unanimously elected member Weston Kane as vice chair during the July 1 meeting. Commissioner Dave McKeirnan nominated Kane and Chris Melhus seconded; the commission voted by voice and Kane indicated by Zoom that he accepts the role.
