Board approves cloud billing contract after debate over fee-increase language

Ian Beatty, a vendor representative for BS&A, presented a cloud-based software and billing proposal, highlighting hosted data, automated backups and resident portals. Beatty said the system would reduce on-site server upkeep and allow residents to pay online; he told the board Alexandria had an early-adopter discount for the product.
