Board member Chris Caius moved a package of seven administration resolutions on the consent agenda, covering a mix of contract extensions, purchases and a revenue license. Items included a contract extension with M. Peters Construction for Kane County concrete services (bid 23-041; not to exceed $600,000 per year), a wall-finishing/painting contract with Midwest Decorating (bid 22-038; not to exceed $200,000 per year), Batavia Instant Printing for NCR forms (bid 26-026-DH; not to exceed $80,000 per year), AED supplies and services from 2nd Chance Cardiac Solutions (bid 26-036-DH; not to exceed $35,000 per year), a dark-fiber license agreement with Zayo Group (four-year revenue total $80,612.90), a 24-month VETRO Fiber Map agreement (not to exceed $58,000), and a one-year extension for Mill Creek SSA snow plowing with Countywide Landscaping (not to exceed $177,100).
Caius introduced and moved the items "and ask for a 2nd," and the clerk called the roll; commissioners recorded ayes and the consent package passed without further discussion. The clerk's roll call confirmed the items passed and they were recorded as part of the consent agenda vote.
