Todd Grafton, Stevens County’s engineer, updated commissioners on current highway work and expected completion dates. He described sequencing of milling, leveling course and wear courses on County Road 18 and discussed detour routing through Hancock and Cyrus; he asked the county to post local-traffic guidance as drivers follow GPS routing that can contradict official detours. "We should be pretty much wrapped up here by the end of the week," Grafton said about the paving work.
