The Spring City Mayor and Board of Commissioners adopted Ordinance 2026-11 at their July 16, 2026 special-call meeting: "AN ORDINANCE IMPOSING A TEMPORARY MORATORIUM ON THE ESTABLISHMENT OF DATA PROCESSING CENTERS." Commissioner Reba Murphy moved to adopt the ordinance and Commissioner Kevin Jenkins seconded. Recorded votes were Jenkins—Aye, Murphy—Aye and Mayor Leon Locke—Aye; the minutes record the motion carried.
