Pendleton SD 16 approves new hires, a resignation and coach appointment

Kevin Dinning, Director of Human Resources, presented a revised personnel report for board approval. The board approved classified hires — Samantha Durning (Paraprofessional, Sherwood), Lindsay Curtis (Paraprofessional, Washington), Carmen Urtecho (Paraprofessional, PHS), and Ema Botts (Paraprofessional, PELC) — and a Youth Transition Specialist, Hailey Kline (PHS). The board also recorded the resignation of Certified PE/Health teacher Chelsie Speer at Pendleton High School and approved an extra-duty assignment: Dillon George as assistant girls coach at PHS.
