Commissioners concur with mayor to transfer county's stadium stake to Sevierville Industrial Development Board
At a May 15, 2026 special-called meeting, Sevier County commissioners unanimously agreed to let Mayor Larry Waters sign the county's portion of stadium ownership over to the City of Sevierville's Industrial Development Board (SIDB). The motion was moved by Commissioner Ray Ogle and seconded by Commissioner Carroll Rauhuff.

The Sevier County Board of Commissioners' Intergovernmental Committee met in a special session May 15, 2026. Commissioner Kent Woods called the meeting to order at 12:16 PM, and attendees heard an updated stadium agreement presented by Mayor Larry Waters, Executive Director Allen Newton and Tyler Huskey.
