The Tom Bean Independent School District board unanimously approved a superintendent-recommended resolution to move $125,000 from the workers' compensation fund into the district's general operating fund to cover operating needs.

The Tom Bean Independent School District Board of Trustees voted unanimously on Oct. 21 to transfer $125,000 from the workers' compensation fund to the district's general operating fund. Trustee Tom Sharp moved to approve the resolution "to transfer $125,000 from the worker's comp fund to the general operating fund as recommended by the Superintendent," and the motion carried 4-0.
