Three Rivers ISD Approves Two Resignations, Staff Contracts After Closed Session; No Action on School Safety

The Three Rivers ISD Board entered closed session at 8:08 p.m. under the Texas Open Meetings Act to consider personnel matters and security. Upon returning to open session, the board approved resignation notices for Brent Kornegay, effective March 31, 2025, and Mercedes Alonzo, effective May 23, 2025. The motion to approve the resignations was made by Darrell Pullin and seconded by Rick Sowell; the motion passed.
