Weimar ISD trustees voted unanimously Oct. 14 to adopt the 2024–25 campus improvement plans for the district’s elementary, junior high and high schools. The motions to approve were made after each campus principal highlighted priorities and goals for the coming school year.
Elementary Principal Kristy Janecka, Junior High Principal Skye Anderle and High School Principal Stacy Heger each presented a brief overview of their campus plans, outlining enrollment and attendance trends, targeted academic priorities and planned events. With a motion by April Mikulenka and a second by Jeremy Maupin, the board approved the plans without objection.
The approvals complete the locally required step of adopting campus‑level goals; the district‑level improvement plan was discussed but tabled to the next meeting. The board’s action allows campus leaders to move forward with the programs and strategies described in their submitted plans.
