The West Rusk County Consolidated ISD Board of Trustees unanimously approved a one-year extension of Superintendent Lawrence Coleman’s contract through June 30, 2028, and agreed to a bonus amount to be finalized by Aug. 31, 2025.

The West Rusk County Consolidated ISD Board of Trustees voted unanimously on Jan. 21, 2025, to extend Superintendent Lawrence Coleman’s contract by one year, making the contract effective through June 30, 2028. The motion to extend was made by Trustee Robert Anderson and seconded by Vice President Will Sudweeks.
