The Cascade Locks City Council voted 5–2 to award the water system improvement contract on June 22. Councilmember Pruit moved to approve the contract and Councilmember Seeger seconded the motion; the award passed with Councilmembers Cramblett, Keilman, Pruit, Happy and Mayor Wood voting in favor and Councilmembers Seeger and Price opposed.
