The Kearney County Board of Commissioners approved the county's July payroll and bills during its Aug. 4 meeting in Minden. The minutes show the General Fund payroll for July totaled $251,563.72 and Road and Bridge payroll totaled $105,201.91; the record lists a $120,000 cash transfer to the KC Road & Bridge Fund and a General Fund bills total of $418,776.52. The board also approved hospital taxes and other claims recorded in the minutes.
