Councilwoman Lux told the board the CAC has a new recommended member, Susan O'Connor, and that the committee is seeking diverse expertise for park and recreation planning. She said the town is pursuing multiple grants, including a Hudson River Greenway application due May 2 that could award up to $20,000 for open-space protection and recreation planning, and a larger municipal parks and recreation grant (applied through the New York State consolidated funding process) with an award limit she cited as $1,000,000.
