Commissioners approve plats, surety release and surplus-property auction authorization

During its Oct. 16 meeting, Comal County's Commissioners Court approved several land-use and property-management items, including plat amendments, release of surety for private-road work and authorization to auction surplus county property.
County planning staff recommended approval of an amendment to the plat of Crossroads Estates Phase 1 (combining Lots 12 and 13 to create Lot 12R), an amending plat for Vintage Oaks at the Vineyard Unit 22 to adjust three lots and establish amended parcels, and a three-lot combination in Canyon Lake Acres Unit 2 to create Lot 487R. Staff also reported inspection and recommended release of a surety (ISB002681) tied to private roads and stormwater work in Johnson Ranch South Unit 8; the court approved the release. Later, staff requested and the court approved an order (No. 550) authorizing auction of listed surplus items.
Each item was approved by motion and voice vote following staff recommendations; the county judge was authorized to sign plats where required.
