Savoy ISD board delegates RDSPD program authority to superintendent, with exceptions

Bear Reed moved the measure and Barbara Malone seconded; the motion carried with six "Yea" votes and one abstention (Jeff Francis, listed as "Abstain (With Conflict)").
Board members framed the motion as an administrative delegation to allow timely participation in RDSPD program management while preserving board oversight for major legal or membership decisions.
