The Santa Rosa Independent School District Board of Trustees approved a motion to have Region One Education Service Center review the TEA K‑12 Cybersecurity Initiative interlocal agreement with the Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR) during its Aug. 7 special meeting. The motion was made by Trustee Mark Chairez and seconded by Trustee Lorenzo Ovalle; the minutes record the vote as "Motion Carries 6-0."
