Comal County approves multiple plats and construction bonds for subdivisions

County planning staff recommended and the court approved several plats and bonds at the Dec. 18 meeting, including an amendment to the Peninsula at Mystic Shores (combining Lots 646 and 647 into Lot 646R), acceptance of bonds for Viramindi and Kenwood Unit 4, a continuation certificate for Steelwood Trail Unit 4, and final plat approval for Silverleaf Condominiums.
Planner Valverick described the projects and recommended approval; on Silverleaf staff explained the subdivision will rely on onsite sewage facilities (OSSF) with more stringent disposal and treatment-area requirements. “I recommend approval of the subdivision,” staff said. Commissioners voted to approve each recommendation during the action portion of the agenda.
