Rules committee told to remove explicit UBE reference to accommodate NextGen exam

Eric Lorenz explained administrative reasons for removing dated transitional language and clarified how passing-score validity is calculated: because all applicants' scores are released the same day, the board sees no advantage to dating validity by an individual's final testing day. Committee members asked whether using the Wednesday of exam week as the date of attainment reduces flexibility for exceptional scheduling; Lorenz said petitions to the court can address special circumstances and that the Wednesday rule gives certainty for expiration dates.
