Trustee William Giannico said Alpha Tech proposed a WIFI solution with considerable cost savings compared with Spectrum and that there are some one‑time startup costs. The board voted 5–0 to approve a 36‑month contract with Alpha Tech; Giannico said staff would clarify whether the Village could charge for WIFI (he referred the question to 'Kelly').
