Property owners question assessments; board leaves values unchanged
Curt and Sherri Janzen and Michael Lohre questioned their building and site values at the June 17 appeal and equalization meeting; the board voted unanimously to leave the contested assessments unchanged while the assessor said the office will re-check at least one property.

Curt and Sherri Janzen raised concerns that the building value assigned to Parcel 22.032.0400 was too high given the structure's age. County Assessor David Grev told the board that the Assessor's Office will look at the property again this year. The board voted unanimously, on a motion recorded as moved by Maras and seconded by Tom Appel, to make no change to Parcel 22.032.0400 (owner: Sherri Janzen).
