Board approves Consolidated District Plan, summer breakfast program and multiple renewals

The Board approved the 2025–26 Consolidated District Plan and Title I plans required for federal grants, continued participation in the Seamless Summer Option breakfast program for summer school, and renewals for programs including Cartwheel Cares, Sown to Grow and Heart of the City.
The Board approved the 2025–26 Consolidated District Plan (CDP) and Title I Schoolwide Plans for Red Oak, Oak Terrace and Northwood, enabling the District to apply for federal formula grants (Title I, II, III, IV and IDEA).
The Board also approved continuing participation in the Seamless Summer Option (SSO) to provide free breakfasts during summer school dates at Northwood and Oak Terrace; administrators described the SSO as cost‑neutral to the District. Additional renewals approved for the 2025–26 year include Cartwheel Cares ($38,500 estimated scope), Sown to Grow ($24,250) and Heart of the City ($85,000) to maintain mental‑health, student well‑being and after‑school enrichment partnerships.
