The board voted to adopt a pay policy for unrepresented employees intended to align accruals and premium-pay practices with those of represented employees and to provide a locally adopted reference for reimbursements and payroll processing. Officials said the policy standardizes onboarding, activation and assignment practices and will apply going forward; the motion specified that it was not intended to create retroactive pay for prior periods.
