DCS engineering report: Maggie Creek improvements complete; Grindstone foundation permit expected soon

Mike Murphy of DCS briefed the board on recent engineering and site work. He reported the Maggie Creek Ranch improvements coordinated on Grandstone Road are complete and gates will be installed by the ranch; he also said Ruby Vista survey work and paving design are advancing and that a permit for Grindstone foundations is expected very soon after minor plan-review items are addressed.
Murphy described coordination steps with the county building department and noted the district is preparing construction timelines and may defer some capital spending to the next fiscal year because of timing. He and staff also reviewed efforts to obtain secondary fiber links and redundancy, and the progress of the Grindstone ROWA project, which the board previously approved at roughly $93,000.
