The North Mankato City Council adopted Ordinance No. 183 on Feb. 18 to add Section 150.10 to Chapter 150 of the City Code, incorporating State Building Code provisions and requiring fire-resistive materials between garages and houses. Building Official Randy King told the council the amendment would "add the State Building Code to the City Code to improve enforceability."
