County staff updated commissioners on water‑plan and open‑space planning work and on recent engagement with state water officials. Staff said the state engineer told a recent Public Lands Legislative Committee meeting that curtailment is not being pursued at this time. The county expects DRI to deliver two additional sections of the draft water plan in the coming weeks for local review.
