The committee heard updates on county capital projects. Staff said Causeway MLS paving is scheduled for mid to late May with completion planned before the June 30 reimbursement deadline; fishing platforms will be constructed on site rather than delivered modularly due to varying sheeting dimensions.
Richards Pit work is underway: recycled asphalt is being crushed on site, and staff are preparing the pad and retention basin for a portable wash plant. The control house for the site is expected to be installed in late summer after larger projects are finished.
