Consultant Collin Frink told the board the district was informed in December about the need for a material‑testing change order and that G2 provided an estimate in January. He said there were "unforeseen challenges with the soil quality in the areas of the bus loop and cafeteria," which required G2 to come out for an additional "4–5 days" and perform extra testing that added to the cost.
