Mayor Rich Slate presented several one-year executive and official appointments at the April 21 organizational meeting; council members moved to confirm the slate and votes carried 5-0. Among the executive appointments confirmed were Clint Lager as Chair of the Finance, Personnel & Safety Committee and Dennis Triemstra as Chair of Streets, Buildings & Utilities. The appointments also included civic roles such as Weed Commissioner Cody McLean and Board of Zoning Appeals Chair David Zanto.
