The Lyon County Commission voted Oct. 30 to adopt a premium-pay policy for Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA)-exempt employees who are occasionally required to work extended hours in support of county operations. Commissioner Chris Bartel moved adoption and Commissioner Doug Peck seconded; the motion passed 3-0.
