The Carroll County Board approved the hiring of Leah Geiser as a unit support worker at the Department of Job and Family Services effective Aug. 17, 2026, at a rate of $16.73 per hour. JFS Director Jen Burns presented the request to the board following internal staff shuffling; commissioners moved, seconded and approved the hire on the record.
