Commissioners raise building-permit fees, add permit rules for multi-unit projects

Ingrid also explained a separate amendment requiring multi-unit projects to provide planned unit counts at application and to obtain a new permit if unit counts increase; major structural changes will require a structural-engineer sign-off before inspection.
Commissioners approved both ordinances by voice vote, with discussion focused on administrative clarity and how the changes would affect towns such as Williamsport that led the petition for the multi-unit rule.
