Brian, a town staff member, told the council the municipal code team has seven ongoing inspections and several active permits and that the majority of cases are resolving without formal enforcement: "We have 7 ongoing, usage inspections," he said. He noted changes that now allow staff to access and inspect some RVs and trailers and asked the council to raise questions.
Councilors emphasized right-of-way safety and the need for uniform enforcement across older and newer neighborhoods. One councilor asked about junk vehicles and meter-box obstructions; staff said those remain enforcement priorities. The council did not take formal action but asked staff to continue routine cleanup and enforcement efforts and to bring any ordinance changes back for review.
