The finance director reported audit and software-conversion progress. The current audit is more than 50% complete with fixed assets remaining, and the city is moving from SmartFusion to Tyler ERP Pro across finance modules. Staff said the general ledger would be offline for several days during the cutover and that HR, payroll and utilities modules will follow later in the fall and into January–February for utilities.
"Today was the last day that we were on SmartFusion for general ledger. We will be down for general ledger purposes only until Monday and we'll be up on Tyler ERP Pro for general ledger, accounts payable and purchasing," the finance director said, noting short-term risk during the cutover but expected long-term gains in stability and reporting. Council members thanked staff for the update.
