Veil Balani, an engineer on the leadership team with WSP, told the City of St. Pete Beach that the coastal resilience project is currently in a data-collection phase focused on three neighborhoods. "We're getting data collection phase for the project, so we really have a good understanding of, what's going on in existing conditions," Balani said, explaining that the team is assembling technical information before starting design work.
