Encore students describe origami projects during Franklin High event
Students at an Encore class spoke about origami projects — including dragonflies and lotus flowers — and said they enjoy the variety of classes and the hands‑on creativity the program offers.

A participant described origami activities at Encore, saying, "So today in origami class at Encore, we made these cool dragonflies with tiny little wings and a little head." The student singled out lotus flowers as a favorite project, noting the shape could be used like a lily-pad with leaves around it.
