County Engineer Adam Miller reported that recent heavy rains paused shouldering on B60, caused a washout on 140th Street still closed, and that bridge and resurfacing projects are advancing with some lettings and late-summer schedules; required speed limit signs under new legislation have been installed.

County Engineer Adam Miller told the board that heavy rains and flooding along the Cedar and Little Cedar Rivers paused shouldering work on B60 and caused a culvert washout on 140th Street between Indigo and Jersey Avenues; 140th Street remains closed while other flood-related closures have reopened. Miller said rock resurfacing began this week in the southwest quadrant and that check plans for HDP(117) 155th Street Bridge were submitted for a November letting. Packard Avenue (T47) resurfacing is scheduled for late August or early September, and bridge replacement continues on 170th Street south of Rudd.
