Steger trustees approve settlements, surplus‑property ordinance, hazard plan and routine bills

At its Nov. 4 meeting the Board of Trustees unanimously approved a settlement with Ronald Woodson, adopted Ordinance No. 1326 to dispose of surplus property (excluding a woodchipper), ratified bills and adopted the Cook County hazard mitigation plan update (Resolution No. 1188).
The Village of Steger Board of Trustees approved several routine and consent items during the Nov. 4 meeting.
Trustees unanimously approved a settlement agreement and general release with Ronald Woodson as recommended by village attorneys. The board also adopted Ordinance No. 1326 authorizing disposal of surplus property (excluding the woodchipper) and ratified bills paid Oct. 25 and authorized payment of bills when funds are available. Trustee Joyce moved and Trustee Perchinski seconded adoption of Resolution No. 1188, approving the Cook County Multi‑Jurisdictional Hazard Mitigation Plan update; that motion passed unanimously.
Roll calls on these items recorded unanimous support unless otherwise noted in the meeting minutes. Where staff noted follow-up requirements — for example, ratification of the Susan Lane contract at the next meeting — trustees asked administrators to return with formal documents for vote.
