Several residents told the board that cars parked on sidewalks are obstructing passage for people using walkers and wheelchairs and that some vehicles lack license plates or village stickers. Jerry Prokop specifically described difficulty navigating the sidewalk near the Intermediate Center with a walker.
Mayor Pro‑tem Lopez said he would have the police chief look into the issue and noted the Village recently hired a new Code Enforcement Officer. The board agreed staff will follow up to identify violators and consider enforcement or signage.
