The Manistee County Fair Commission held its officer elections under the bylaws on April 20. "There was a motion by Commissioner Koons, supported by Mr. Schimke, to nominate Commissioner Nikki Koons as Chair," the minutes record; the roll call vote was seven yeas, zero nays.
