Board approves MFT contracts for pavement patching and additional sidewalk work
Trustees authorized a pavement-patching contract increased to $200,000 to take advantage of low bids and approved a sidewalk removal/replacement contract up to $100,000 after staff recommended using the full allocations.

Public Works presented two MFT-funded projects and the board approved both resolutions. Joe said Chicagoland Paving submitted the lowest bid of $165,000 for the pavement-patching program and staff recommended increasing the contract to the $200,000 allocation to get additional patching done; the board approved the contract not to exceed $200,000.
