The Town of Nutter Fort council discussed procedures for replacing an absent council member in accordance with West Virginia law, which places responsibility for the appointment with the current governing body. Mayor Sam Maxson proposed forming a three-person selection committee composed of himself, Councilor Charlene Louk and Councilor Rick Lafferty to vet applicants.
