District reports several summer facility projects complete or underway

During the capital construction segment of the Aug. 4 meeting, district staff reported a series of completed and in-progress summer projects across the Granite district.
Justin told the board that Bridal Elementary's chiller replacement is complete and that Cobblehead High's flooring project finished with a few punch-list items remaining. He also said the West Valley parking lot received new asphalt and a refreshed playground surface, and that a technology dashboard at Magna STEM Academy is now online to display building energy usage. The district received a $9,000 rebate tied to an HVAC control and boiler upgrade at Backus.
Board members and staff noted visible improvements at renovated sites and discussed small outstanding items and next steps for commissioning and punch-list completion.
